Roger Stacks PRESIDENT/OWNER
Growing up in parking, Roger’s unique experiences and insight into the past, present and future of the parking industry are at the core of Preferred’s operating philosophy. With a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Roger officially joined the company in 1984, purchasing Preferred Parking Service, Inc. in 1989. He has guided the company to new stages of expansion and service. Increasing revenue in excess of 250% in less than 20 years as well as expanding operations to more than 50 locations, Roger continues to search for innovative and expedient means to serve clients more efficiently and profitably. Using a nimble management structure, attention to detail, in collaboration with his unique and extensive insight, he has guided the company to a new period of productivity and efficiency. Roger has successfully leased, managed and purchased property in uptown Charlotte with a constant focus on client satisfaction. His concentration on technological expediency has pioneered the development of automated receivables programs, customized databases, computerized enforcement systems, ParkMaster parking management software, as well as the

Benjamin Sands GENERAL MANAGER
Joining Preferred Parking in 2000, Ben got his start in the parking industry in New York City at the historic and prestigious Four Season’s Restaurant. Specializing in service presentation and delivery, mixed-use properties, customized reporting, hotel partnerships, event management and new account start-up, Ben plays a key role for Preferred Parking. As the business manager Ben is responsible for sales and marketing, new account startup and consultation, as well as client and customer quality assurance.

Joel Wooten CITY MANAGER
A career parking professional, Joel has been with Preferred Parking since 1994. With more than 35 years of experience in the parking industry, he has seen the evolution of the parking industry first hand. With extensive experience in off-airport and urban shuttle operations, parking facility and surface lot management, and in directing new facility equipment and operational installations, Joel is at the heart of the daily operations of the company. He has worked effectively in a variety of environments to enable our clients to meet their goals of customer service and satisfaction. In new facilities, Joel has special experience in equipment installations and the nuances of working in these new structures. Currently, Joel is responsible for daily operations, scheduling, collections, maintenance oversight, as well as enforcement oversight.
