Our frequently asked questions can help you understand monthly parking, daily parking, our payment process and more. If you don't see what you are looking for, contact our Customer Support Team.

How do I cancel my monthly parking?

You can easily cancel your parking with any of the three methods below. Please note: We do not accept cancellations over the phone. All cancellations must be received by the 20th of each month. Cancellations filed after the 20th will be subject to a $15 cancellation fee. We do NOT take cancellations after the 27th of the month.

  1. Online Log in to your customer account here. Click "cancel account" and follow the steps.
  2. Email Email your cancellation directly to us at info@preferredparking.com. Include your name, location, and cancellation effective date..
  3. Visit Our Office We are located at 212 S. Tryon St. Suite 1370 Charlotte, NC 28281. Our hours are 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday thru Friday.

How can I update my account with information like a new vehicle or credit card number?

Login to your customer account here. After you make the appropriate changes, scroll to the bottom of the page and click "Update My Account". You can also call our 24/7 customer support at 704-375-6014 ext. 2, or stop by our office Monday thru Friday 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM.


How do I reset my password?

You can reset your password on the customer login page here.


How do I pay my violation?

You can pay your violation 3 ways:

  1. Online Visit our violations page here and enter your violation number (ABC#######) and follow the instructions. You can also opt to appeal the violation after logging in.
  2. Mail You can mail a check, money order or cash to our office. Be sure to put the violation number on the memo line and direct your envelope to the Appeals Division.
  3. Visit our Office We are located at 212 S. Tryon St. Suite 1370 Charlotte, NC 28281. Our hours are 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday thru Friday.

How does the appeals process work?

First, you must login to view the violation on our website here. Click the violation number you would like to appeal and follow the steps. Appeals must be made within 14 days of the violation issue date. You must appeal each violation individually. Once you submit an appeal, the violation amount will NOT increase

You can also visit our office to appeal in person. Your fine will not increase after you submit an appeal. Within 2 to 3 weeks, you will receive an email response from our appeals department that includes and instructions and next steps. Be sure to check your spam folder so you do not miss our email response.


I lost my permit. What should I do?

Charlotte customers, if you have lost your permit and/or access card, please visit our office for a replacement. There is a $15 replacement fee for the permits and a $25 replacement fee for access cards. ***Please note that garage access card fees vary based on the customer contract for each garage.

Our office is open from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM Monday thru Friday.

Regional customers, if your parking is located in Asheville, Greensboro or another city, please email info@preferredparking.com.


Can I be reimbursed for WageWorks?

No, we are not able to reimburse for WageWorks.
